The security and privacy of our users is a priority for Quipu. We comply with the same encryption protocols used by banks (SSL 256) and the GDPR to ensure that your data is secure at all times.

All of our customers' data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in Frankfurt, Germany, just like other companies such as AirBnB or Netflix. We perform several backups per day and alternate between different storage units to ensure proper operation in any situation.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation 2016/679) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the EU. Quipu is committed to compliance with the regulation and data protection.

We use technologies to monitor exceptions, logs and detect anomalies in our applications.
We collect and store logs to provide an audit trail of our application activity.

All payment instrument processing is securely outsourced to Stripe, which is certified as a PCI Level 1 service provider. We do not collect any payment information and are therefore not subject to PCI obligations.
